An end to this investigation before the Democratic Convention on July 25, with or without indictment, is crucial to the Democratic party standing a chance in the general election. This investigation can be manipulated to make it nearly impossible for the Democratic nominee to take office. If Hillary is the nominee, and she is indicted after the Convention, this weakens her stance against Donald Trump. If the investigation is stretched out throughout the general election, similar results will occur. If the results of the investigation are reached before the Convention however, trust in Hillary may be restored before the general election, or if she is indicted then the party still has an opportunity to choose Bernie Sanders as the nominee. This would ensure a fair Democratic process.
