President Obama demand Mexican President-elect Enrique Peña Nieto to explain the voting discrepancies.

Created by J.G. on November 21, 2012

The complaints that Peña Nieto’s campaign was illegally financed with funds from the Monex-gate scandal, that Soriana shopping cards were used to influence the people’s vote, and that Televisa and TV Azteca favored his campaign, have all been dismissed by the Federal Electoral Tribunal. However, the election’s database shows that 2.7 million votes were assigned to political parties without having the corresponding paper ballots. President Obama, please hold Peña Nieto accountable and ask him to explain these numbers from the election’s database (Prep, 2012).
Total votes assigned: 49,526,631
Total ballots counted: 46,815,854
Total people voted: 47,662,601
