We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

For President Obama to denied the Presidential Pardon request from Oscar Lopez Rivera before the end of his term.

Created by O.C. on December 05, 2016

President Obama, we want to ask you to consider every resident of Puerto Rico before granting a pardon to a criminal like Oscar Lopez Rivera. This individual was convicted of conspiracy against the United States of America. He does not regret any of his actions and he still believe in fighting for the independence of Puerto Rico using weapons and all kinds of violent actions if needed.

Oscar does not recognize the authorities of the US goverment and refuse to respect the willing of the people of Puerto Rico in being related with the United States of America.

If a pardon is granted to Oscar the people of Puerto Rico and the United States will be less safe.

Please denied his request for Presidential Pardon and send a strong message of respect for democracy to all the PR US citizens.
