Chuck Rosenberg's comments to CBS News (November 2015) as to what constitutes medicine is outside of his job description, training, and expertise. Mr. Rosenberg is not a medical professional, and his "joke" comment and other contradictory comments show disdain for individual liberties and the democratic process that has instituted medical Cannabis programs in 23 states, and that has legalized Cannabis entirely in Colorado, Washington, and Oregon.
Mr. Rosenberg should be fired.
It is time that future DEA chiefs understand their decreasing role in federal enforcement in the unrelenting wake of state-by-state democratic reforms related to Cannabis. Mr. Rosenberg should be replaced with such a person.
