On November 11,2016, a petition was submitted to pardon political prisoner Oscar Lopez. Signed by more than 100,000 individuals, the petition was ignored by the White House. The Obama Administration cited the "We The People's" Terms of Participation as an excuse to refuse to comment on this issue. This is wholly unacceptable.
We, the friends, family and allies of Oscar Lopez demand for President Obama to pardon him immediately.
