President Obama, we're asking you to take these specific actions:
*Immediately appoint someone with the stature, backing, and authority to lead to the process of closing the Guantanamo prison.
*Order to the Secretary of Defense to begin certifying people for transfer under the National Defense Authorization Act.
*Lift the blanket ban on repatriation to Yemen.
*Immediately end the practice of force-feeding.
Mr. President, we understand that there are some actions that you can't take without the cooperation of Congress. However, these four actions are within your purview.
Please end the hunger strike. Visit the prison if you must.
If you don't take these actions, we'll be going hungry along with the prisoners until the strike ends.
