President Obama, for too long I have watched shows with Edgar Allan Poe themed episodes, and premises.
I will always love the works of Edgar Allan Poe, but one thing has always irked me.
There is a level of disrespect by all media in portraying them!
Fox's "The Following" takes this step much further. Idolatry, serial killing, and meaningless drama between tertiary characters. This is only a fraction of the vision of the great Edgar Allan Poe.
The thing missing, to show full respect, is the insertion of the Raven.
It is at this time, I believe we should raise up Edgar Allan Poe as a nationally acclaimed writer, and demand that from now on, all adaptation, inspired works, and media representation are forced to add a Raven into them.
