My petition asks President Obama to veto the Defense Of America Act and save the Bill of Rights for all Americans.
It removes habeas corpus from the equation if someone is merely accused of supporting a terrorist group. This applies to American citizens as well as non citizens.What if the 99% and OWS movement is declared to be a terrorist group? Or the Tea Party movement? Anyone at a rally can be jailed without trial, without access to a lawyer, indefinitely. This cannot become law.
