President Obama needs to continue working with the other world leaders at the G8 summit to put an end to world hunger.

Created by G.M. on May 03, 2013

The UK will soon be hosting many of the world's most powerful leaders for the G8 Summit. This year’s G8 has the potential to see the beginning to the end of world hunger. Pres. Obama has done remarkable things on this front - from the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act to the Feed the Future initiative (http://www.feedthefuture.gov). Many nations look to the U.S. to be at the forefront of human rights issues and global hunger is no exception. Starvation may not be on everyone’s radar in the same way as other humanitarian aid issues, but thanks to programs like Enough Food for Everyone (http://enoughfoodif.org/) and charities like UNICEF, much is being done to spread awareness. Pres. Obama needs to continue to work with other nations to finally make sure NO ONE ever goes hungry again.
