President Obama, once per day, shall publicly read the names & ages of each gun fatality victim from the previous day.

Created by J.R. on December 18, 2012

"In the coming weeks, I will use whatever power this office holds to engage my fellow citizens... in an effort aimed at preventing more tragedies like this"
-President Barack Obama, 12/16/2012

Once per day, President Obama shall step before a podium and address the public with the details of the previous day's gun tragedies across the entire nation. Each life needlessly taken by a gun, whether a homicide, suicide, or fatal accident, shall be recognized. The name, age, city and state of each victim will be read aloud, one after another. No editorializing, just simple recognition.

This action is not tied to any specific legislative goal, but rather to continually keep gun safety upon our national conscience. Every victim's name, every day, until we find a way to do better as a nation.
