A senior, black, national leader should publicly condemn racially motivated, black-on-white violence and make it clear racially motivated violence is never acceptable, regardless of who the victims and perpetrators are.
Further, that leader should admonish the parents of the perpetrators and onlookers to teach their children to obey the law--regardless of who's enforcing it--and that poverty is not a valid excuse for poor choices and bad behavior.
Lastly, said leader should recognize the high rate of unwed births & fatherless families is destroying the fabric of American society and is a major contributor (morally and economically) to the decline of the middle class. Both men and women should be admonished to control their fertility and be more responsible in child rearing and marriage.
