We the People petition the President to change the existing position of the Democratic Party and the US on providing equal aid to Israel and Palestine.
President Obama has said in the past that "Palestinians deserve a state of their own".
A two-state solution cannot happen if the US puts a thumb to tip the scales (nearly $20 billion in US aid to Israel).
The goal of this petition is easy to achieve, in contrast to other petitions where the White House has not obliged completely, merely reaffirming its support. We want action! Please use your power as the head of the Democratic Party to help change the Party Platform of 2016 to ensure that Democrats support a two-state solution and equal American aid to both Israel and Palestine.
