We have witnessed numerous instances of voter suppression in this Democratic primary election, in New York, Arizona, Nevada, and many others.
Most problems that occurred this cycle could have been solved by making all Democratic primaries and caucuses open to all voters.
We demand concrete action on this issue.
Because of partisan voting, it is clear that Independents decide general elections, so knowing which candidate they prefer is helpful to the party.
In addition, the Democratic Party would again give the appearance of being open to new voters and new ideas, instead of being closed to party insiders.
Please use your power as the leader of the Democratic Party to convince the DNC to make all Democratic primaries and caucuses open to all voters from the 2020 cycle onward.
Thank you.
