In the interest of our national security and due diligence of vetting our Presidential candidates, President Obama should direct the IRS to release Trump's tax returns. The only way to fully understand the truthfulness of his candidacy is the disclosure of his finances, which he has refused. This is the first candidate in over 40 years that has refused this most basic transparency. Recent investigations have identified a relationship with Russia that presents a clear conflict of interest and national security threat. The American people must know the details of Donald Trump's business ties and geo-political alliances prior to electing our next President.
