We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

President Obama should invite the Prime Minister of Japan to come to Pearl Harbor on December 7, 2016.

Created by J.P. on May 30, 2016

It's important that President Obama recognized the contribution of "the greatest generation," our World War II men and women who served in the military to defend our freedom. Inviting the Japanese Prime Minister would give the Prime Minister the opportunity to apologize for the attack on Pearl Harbor, the bloodshed there that ensuing during the rest of the conflict. This would be an appropriate way for President Obama to show his recognition of our fallen men and women and his current commitment to our military.
