I have a plan for the Supreme Court Nomination: First, The President nominates himself for the Supreme Court, which he would get. Second, after he resigns the presidency, Joe Biden becomes President to serve remainder of the term. This would be wonderful!!
It would put the Republican Party in a complete meltdown. You would not get any better drama than that. Obama would be able to protect his legacy, it would be a huge plus for him. He could also be a lifetime public servant of the people...after all, he is most qualified as a Constitutional Lawyer!! There is nothing in the Constitution to prevent this!! During the confirmation hearings, the President would be able to defend his policies like no other forum!!
