I am a 9th Grader attending Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, Maryland. Recently, we were assigned an assignment where we have to do a topic that stands out to us. After I thought about several topics, this was the issue I wanted to do the most: Is Edward Snowden a hero or a traitor, and should the President pardon him. Doing this isn't for the grade, as it isn't required for the assignment, but because just doing that won't get anywhere.
I learned about Snowden as soon as he hit the news. Leaking the NSA' secrets isn't legal, but he had to do it, and doing that might had change everything, in a good way, or a bad way. And that made the United States a better democracy. Sign this petition, and have him come home freely. Time is running out.
