We ask President Obama to send in the National Guard or miliary to protect peaceful protesters who are being attacked by police with tear gas, flash-bang cannisters, rubber bullets, night sticks; and then arrested. These "Occupy" protesters are exercising their civil rights under the 1st Amendment: the right to assemble; the right to petition government for a redress of grievances.
Additionally, journalists have been attacked and news media have been to ordered to leave at some of these protests. Again, a violation of the 1st Amendment.
The President has sworn to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, and he is not fulfilling this part of his contract. He must send in National Guard or military to protect these citizens who are exercising their civil rights.
