Half of this country has already accepted the fact that cannabis, indeed, has many medical benefits and its use has been regulated in statehouses nationwide. The DEAs recent decision to keep cannabis scheduled 1 shows obvious bureaucratic obstruction to current science. We ask President Obama to use the power of Executive Order to take cannabis off the controlled substances list and let it be regulated like alcohol and tobacco.
