Since Trayvon Martin's murder in February of 2012 and Mike Brown's murder in 2014, police brutality has been an issue at the forefront of the political and social agenda for not only Black America but all of America. However President Barack Obama, the nation's first Black President, has yet to take a hard stance on the issue and voice what he plans to do about it. Too many times we have seen police officers act with total disregard to the lives of citizens. In his last 119 days left in the Executive office, I suggest that President Obama should issue an executive order that requires the nation's police forces to receive the same DE-ESCALATION of force tactics used by the United States military. Sign if you agree that this would be a good step in the right direction.
