We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

A President should be Chosen by the Popular Vote, not the Electoral Vote

Created by R.M. on November 09, 2016

Multiple times in American electoral history, the candidate with less popular votes has become president due to having more electoral votes. With the controversial candidates of the 2016 election, it is unfair that the person whom overall fewer people voted for has been elected president. By urging a change in the outdated U.S.A. voting system, it can be made sure that these incidents do not repeat, and the people get who they voted for as president.
