President should be elected by Direct Popular Vote

We feel that the President and Vice President should be elected by direct popular vote, not electoral college. Everyone should have a vote. Under the electoral college voters in some states, voters will not turn out to vote because their vote will never be counted because of states history of party. We feel that every american vote should have equal weight and be counted toward the candidate for which it is cast. We feel the candidate with the most votes counted from each state should be determined the winner of the Presidential Election
