We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

The President should tell the anti-Trump protestors to stand-down and accept the President Elect.

Created by G.S. on November 14, 2016

The President has stated that there should be a smooth transition to the new President elect. President Obama has not called for the anti-Trump protestors to stop the violence. Losing an election does not give license to cause chaos, destruction of public property, private property, businesses or to beat people who may disagree with the protestors views. When the seated President does not actively try to stop the violence, it is the same as condoning the violence as acceptable and reasonable. The violence only serves to divide our nation and not unite our nation. Mr. Trump has called for his followers to "STOP IT", now is the time for the President to do the same with his and Mrs. Clinton's followers. Mr. President call for the violence to stop. Unite, don't divide!
