Presidential Candidate Requirements: Citizenship/Constitution Testing

Created by A.B. on October 10, 2016

At this juncture in American history, it becomes clear that not all presidential contenders are familiar enough with the American Constitution. At minimum, presidential candidates should be required to either pass the same citizenship test as people who have immigrated to our country or the same constitution test that American students take before completion of 8th grade. Candidates should be required to pass one or both of these assessments within one year of beginning a bid for the highest office in the land.
