Presidential Challenge in Music We join together to petition for a President's Challenge in Music akin to the Presidential Challenge in Physical Fitness, the long-standing program throughout the United States to encourage exercise. Young people, starting at age 2 and up , can participate in making music individually and collectively, in school and out of school, with instruments or simply their own voices, providing great value for their own education and enjoyment, Music is unique in transcending language barriers and connecting young people across lines of geography, ethnicity, ability, religion, and other differences. music can unlock and give voice to the soul. It is a lifelong activity deserving of incentives from the highest levels .
