We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Presidential debates MUST be open to more than two candidates.

Created by P.W. on September 18, 2016

Our Republic deserves far better than the miserable rhetoric perpetuated by the two primary parties that created the debate commission. This partisan commission sets the threshold and criteria and establishes sponsors and funding. Sponors for the two party debate commission are not disclosed thereby creating even less transparency in a system that has proven to be corrupt based on leaked e-mails. Various polls suggest anywhere from 62-72% of American citizens want to see a third party in the presidential debates to contrast the absurd level of rhetoric from BOTH parties. We plead for a third podium in the debates allowing Americans to decide - Not the debate commission or their sponsors. If the two candidates are indeed worthy, then their message will prevail regardless. Let Gary Debate!
