Presidential Debates qualification by number of states on ballot not on polls

Created by D.B. on September 06, 2016

The Commission on Presidential Debates has no legitimate authority to control entrance to the presidential debates. Eligibility should be ONLY determined by number of states on the ballot, and absolutely not in any way, average or otherwise, on incomplete not-truly-representative not to mention fickle polls. Polls are by definition population sub-samples and do NOT reflect the true nature they seek to reveal. The news media reports polls as if they are definitive and final when in fact they are highly and unproductively manipulative and even self-fulfilling and rudely and undemocratically coercing.

Instead debate participation should ONLY be determined based on whether candidates have succeeded in achieving a number of states on ballot which makes possible Electoral College victory.
