The current Presidential electoral system which includes delegates and the Electoral College is not a democratic process. A Constitutional amendment should be adopted to abolish the Electoral College system and replaced with a National Primary and General Election. A National primary would be held in all 50 states during the month of February. The four candidates receiving the most votes, regardless of party affiliation, would advance to the second National Primary. The second National Primary would be held during the month in May among the four candidates. The two candidates receiving the most votes, regardless of party affiliation, would advance to the General Election. The candidate with the highest popular vote total in the General Election would be elected President.
