I agree with our right to bear arms; however, the framers which gave us this right, did not witness the devastating impact these weapons create in violence against those who fall victim to it at public venues like schools, shopping malls and movie theaters. Instead of speeches that lead to empty promises that cannot be kept. We need immediate action that has merit. Therefore, I petition the following by presidential executive order:
1. A ban of Assault rifles.
2. A ban on semi automatic handguns.
3. The creation of federal database for law enforcement and mental health industry that tracks handgun owners and their mental status.
4. If a person is determine mental ill, they can not own a rifle or hand gun.
5. In order to have a gun that person needs to have a license to own it.
