Whereas President Barack Obama is calling for the continued policy of "gun free zones" for our children in schools, and for all U.S. Citizens where "gun free zone" signs are posted, and,
Whereas President Barack Obama should lead by example and demonstrate his faith in his own policies,
We the people of these United States do petition our President to sign executive orders declaring the White House, Capital Building and all areas in which the President and his family are present, and any area withing 100 yards of the President and/or his family, to be a "Gun Free Zone", mandating all secret service personnel and others in the employ of the Federal government be disarmed.
Grant the President and his family the same "security" as the rest of us condemned to "gun free zones".
