President Obama should write a public letter to the UN stating the following:
(1) Regardless of what the letter from the 47 Senators says, the U.S. has no intention of removing itself from any of the tens of thousands of executive international agreements it is party to, even though the letter implies that this could happen at any time.
(2) The President should indicate that the Senators don't really understand international law.
(3) In any case, the letter was a matter of domestic politics and not really intended for an international audience.
