Rachel Platten's song, "Fight Song" has helped and inspired millions. Not only has it done well in the charts, but "Fight Song" has given countless cancer patients the much needed strength to fight on. From young to old, cancer patients around the world have found their battle cry. Not only has her song helped these amazing people, but she has also donated her time to hospitals and bedsides. Not only does this help cancer patients, but it's inspired countless people to donate to individual patients and cancer research.
This petition is a nomination by US and world citizens for the Presidential Medal of Freedom. We request that President Obama recognize Rachel Platten's tireless efforts and philanthropy on behalf cancer patients and families.
