To avoid unintentional embarrassment to the Office, to avoid unintentional conflict with the policy and/or position of the United States government, and to avoid potential defamation of the People of this Nation, Presidents-elect must close, delete and cease all personal activity on social media upon acceptance of election results following Election Day, independent of the Electoral College. Any and all future public communications by Presidents-elect and therein after upon inauguration to the Office of the President are to be handled in official capacity through public relations staff or through direct formal address. This does not preclude informal communications entirely; however it is within the spirit of public relations that Presidents and Presidents-elect conduct messaging.
