With yet another heartbreaking attack and the senseless mass murder of our citizens on American soil, we must come together as a nation to forge new solutions that meet new challenges. Because of the polarization of our politics and the partisanship in government, we have been unable to make any real progress at stopping or at least reducing these attacks. Therefore, a Special Presidential Commission should be convened, not made up of politicians, but of our best experts from Federal and Local Law Enforcement, and advised by our Military and Intelligence Resources, charged with the responsibility to devise constitutional and effective steps that Congress and our Government should implement immediately. This is the moment when we come together as Americans and solve this problem.
