Being that Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) is sending today March 9, 2015 an open letter drafted by him and 46 of his Republican colleagues in the Senate to Iranian leaders about the ongoing nuclear negotiations between their country and the U.S., we the citizens of the United States request that formal charges be brought against these iSenators by fining or imprisoning them pursuant to the Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 30 January 1799, currently codified at 18 U.S.C. § 953), a United States federal law that forbids unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments.
