The Electoral College is antiquated and the need for it is obsolete. It denies some votes the value of others and makes gerrymandering a national disgrace. The initial reasoning behind the practice is no longer valid and provides for manipulation of voting results in today's society. One person, one vote should be a national standard and our President should be elected by popular vote of the entire nation.
