We are encouraging the President of the United States of America to push congressional leaders in the United States Senate to pass HR 459 (Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2012).
We believe the American taxpayers deserve a transparent and accountable Federal Reserve.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, an advocate for such legislation for some 25 years, has recently stated that he would not include the HR 459 on the legislative calendar. We believe the office of the President should strongly encourage Sen. Reid to bring the bill to a vote and sign the bill into law should it pass.
