Pressure the administration of public schools to allow students to exercise their self evident right to wear leggings.

Created by C.S. on January 30, 2014

We think that it is an unnecessary burden for high school students to be required to wear pants that have buttons, zippers, or other fastening hardware. Students should be comfortable in their learning environment. We hold these truths to be self evident that leggings are comfortable, stylish, and tasteful as long as they are worn appropriately. Schools should enforce rules about appropriate dress, but we feel that that can include leggings and jeggings.
