The Whitehouse says we should expect more from the rich and powerful. Our President receives 450K per year for 4 or 8 years service. The speaker of the house receives over 223K per year for life. Our majority and minority leaders receive over 193K per year for life. And our House and Senate members receive 174K per year for life, even if they only serve 2 years. Everyone also receives full benefits. A deployed soldier doesn't even earn 40K fighting in Afghanistan. Our representatives need to put America first and not themselves. Please stop them from being able to vote themselves a pay raise without fixing America's check book first.
