By reallocating wasteful defense spending (the largest percentage of Federal budget by far) into the development of human knowledge and technology by way of NASA, the United States could quickly increase humanity's knowledge of the universe, jumpstart another technological revolution, and assist the world in solving many of today's issues. All that holds us back from greater discoveries is funding.
We the People petition the White House to pressure Congress to cut one-third of military funding (which we lead globally by a huge margin) and reallocate those funds to an agency dedicated to improving human understanding and lives.
