We have all heard conflicting data on the Keystone XL's benefits to our nation. It will create 10's of thousands of jobs, or only a few thousand temporary jobs. It will make us energy independent or we don't get any of the oil. Before we allow a foreign corporation to build a tar sands pipeline across our entire nation, crossing hundreds of waterways and thousands of acres of farm land, don't we deserve to know the truth? Don't we deserve answers to the following basic questions? 1. How many temporary American jobs will XL create and just how temporary will they be? 2. How many permanent American jobs will XL create? 3. How much of the Canadian oil running thru XL will the US get to keep for our use? Could XL actually increase fuel prices in portions of the US?
