The journalists have been falsely accused of supporting a terrorist group and are actually being censored by the new government coming into power in Egypt. This is a direct assault on freedom of the press. Abdullah Elshamy has been on a hunger strike for the past 100 days and is reported to be in dire health. He and the others need your support! The White House needs to remember that it is giving military aid to the Egyptian government despite its injustices. If President Obama truly cares about real democracy in Egypt, he should reconsider the new Apache helicopters being sold to them until the journalists are released.
