Since the military coup in Egypt in June 2013, Egyptian people have and continue to suffer the worst period of human right violations in recent history even worse than the previous dictator Mubarak which is unimaginable. USA, mu country, stands for higher values of human rights and civil liberties yet seemingly is turning a blind eye to all these human right violations in Egypt. This is hurtful. we need to do better. I urge our president to use all lavage to pressure this oppressive regime to respect human rights of Egyptian people and follow international laws for civil liberties.
