Unjustifiable holding of Rtd.Gen Sarath Fonseka is a clear violation of his civil liberties enjoyed by all citizens of this world who have become part of the Democratic conventions. He is jailed for being the Opposition Candidate at the 2010 Presidental Election opposing the present President Mahinda Rajapaksa. He polled over 4.4mn votes in a much controversial election result.
His incarceration is equivalent to an incarceration of 4.4mn voters rights in this Country.
