Saeed Abedini, an American citizen and Christian pastor, has been held by Iran since last September. He is being beaten, tortured and denied medical care simply for his religion. The American government should stop being delicate with Iran about this and pressure them into releasing him. He is an American and they are torturing him. The government should not turn a blind eye to its citizens being tortured by foreign governments and should continually increase pressure on Iran until he is free, home and safe.
