Several hundred Palestinian civilians, including the elderly, women and children, have been killed in the latest attack by Israel on Gaza. This is vastly disproportionate to the purported threat by Hamas to Israel, which is being used as justification for indiscriminate and barbarous attacks on Palestinian homes, schools, mosques, hospitals etc. The US must condemn these attacks and immediately pressure Israel to stop its murderous assault on Palestinian population, lift its seige on Gaza, and make a good faith effort for lasting peace with Palestinians.
