The Miami Marlins major league baseball team is owned by thieves. They brought hope to the Miami baseball lovers by promising them change in the direction of quality players. Now that these quality players have been traded away, we now have to watch a AAA baseball team at major league prices.
Residents in the county of Miami-Dade gave the team what they needed to build the stadium on the premise that we would see quality baseball. The team has gone against a verbal contract and destroyed the hope and good faith we had in this ownership.
We could stop going to the games. However, through revenue sharing we can not do much to Mr. Loria's income. We need someone with influence to help stand behind the people and bring some desperately needed change to what has been a great baseball team.
