Pressure the media to include a proctored civics exam into the Presidential debate schedule for 2016

Created by E.P. on February 27, 2016

Anyone seeking a high school diploma or US citizenship must pass a basic civics exam. Why don't we require the same for our Presidential candidates? Our 2016 Presidential candidates are highly educated so it should be easy for them to pass a proctored 100-question exam, with live results, grades, and follow-up questions on national television. It would help the electorate to determine who can truly perform under pressure. Test anxiety is something that EVERYONE can relate to.

The Presidential Civics exam should be more difficult than the 100 question test for new citizens, but not as hard as an AP exam for US History.

The majority of the test should be multiple choice, but a few written questions might help illuminate the candidate's favorite founding father, Supreme Court case, etc
