Pressure New York law enforcement to arrest Justin Bieber on charges of indecent exposure and violating health codes

In July 2013, Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber was seen on video deliberately urinating in a mop bucket at a New York City restaurant. Bieber, who is nineteen years of age at the time this petition was created, is legally an adult in all 50 states and his native Canada. This petition urges the Justice Department to pressure New York law enforcement to arrest Bieber on charges of indecent exposure and health code violations stemming from the incident, and be charged as an adult. It is about time that law enforcement officials stopped issuing a double standard to celebrities and other public figures who show blatant and willful disregard for the law, a higher standard of leniency that would not be applied to everyday people who engage in such behavior.
