We ask President Obama, the US Congress, and the UN to pressure the People's Republic of China to grant the Uyghur people of East Turkestan their basic human rights, political rights, and their own Independent state. As you already know East Turkistan is the home of the majority Uyghur ethnically Turkic people along with Kyrgyz, Uzbek, Kazakh Turkic ethnic groups. East Turkistan was illegally occupied by the PRC in 1949 and given a "autonomous" status, however since occupation China has been flooding East Turkestan with millions of Han Chinese and restricting the native Uyghur and other Turkic peoples of their culture, religion, language and political practices. China is using the War on Terror to wage a War of Terror against Uyghurs. STOP THE GENOCIDE OF UYGHURS IN EAST TURKESTAN!
